Raspberry Jam Sweet Roll Recipe

Raspberry Jam Sweet Roll

1 package yeast into 1/4 cup warm water and 1 tsp. sugar. Mix and set aside.

1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup Crisco
1 tsp salt
1 egg
3 1/2 cup flour
1 16 oz. Mrs. Millers Red Raspberry Jam

Mix sugar and water together. Add Crisco, salt, and egg. Add the yeast/water/sugar mixture into the rest of the ingredients. Add the flour last and mix well. Set in a warm spot, cover, and let rise for 1 hour. Flour surface and roll out dough into a large rectangle. Spread the Red Raspberry Jam onto the rolled dough. Roll it together and cut into 1-1 1/2 inch pieces and lay it onto a greased 9x13 pan. Cover with saran wrap and let it rise 1 hour. Bake at 375 until golden brown.

Cream Cheese Frosting

4 T. butter, melted
4 oz. cream cheese
2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Salt
2 1/2 tsp vanilla
Milk, if needed

Mix butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla. Add milk if it's too thick. Frost sweet rolls and enjoy!
